Federal Reserve Vice President to Speak at International College
Do hurricanes and higher gas prices provide the recipe for recession in the New Year?
Federal Reserve Vice-President Tom Cunningham will offer insight on this and other fiscal matters at a public, economic update, October 17, 2005, at the Fort Myer Campus of International College.
This promises to be a very informative seminar," says International College Accounting Program Chairman Tom Nohl.
"Most economic forecasts tend to offer little more than a lot of speculation, but in this case, we are very privileged for an opportunity to be advised by such a credible, distinguished expert," adds Professor Nohl.
Headquartered at Atlanta’s Federal Reserve District, Cunningham also serves as the agency’s Associate Director of Research.
His economic update, sponsored by the local chapter of the Financial Planning Association, The News-Press and International College, commences at 2:00 p.m. on October 17.
Admission is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
