Sutter appointed to library board

Leslie Sutter, program chair of Interdisciplinary Studies and Liberal Arts at International College in Naples, was appointed to a three-year term as a Board of Director member with the Friends of the Library of Collier County. The board oversees programs, projects and financial status of Friends of the Library. The board also appoints committees to provide efficient management and raises funds through contributions, subscriptions, dues, legacies and other means.

Sutter, a professor at International College since 1995 and program chair since 2000, holds a doctorate degree in education from the University of Sarasota . He completed master’s degree studies in humanities at California State University-Dominguez Hills and bachelor’s studies in history at Regents College of the University of the State of New York.
