The Academic Committee of Hodges University has named
Anthony Rodriguez the student of the month for June.
The Academic Committee consists of the program chairs and other elected faculty, chaired by the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Jeanette Brock.
In nominating Rodriguez for the honor, Professor Jo Ahern acknowledged that his mastery of the five learning outcomes at Hodges had been done with great thoughtfulness and maturity.
“Anthony carries a full semester class load, works a full time job and yet remains on the Dean’s List,” said Professor Ahern. “He is organized, efficient, extremely competent, and has an excellent rapport with people of all ages. His communication skills, both written and verbal, are excellent. Anthony has been successful as a mentor for new students as well, and demonstrates leadership skills by having study groups with some of the students. His fellow students admire and respect him also. I feel confident in saying that he is worthy of being recognized as student of the month for his achievements.”
As student of the month, Anthony Rodriguez will receive a recognition certificate and a $100 tuition credit.
