The Academic Committee of Hodges University has named
Edith Ortiz the student of the month for February.
The Academic Committee consists of the program chairs and other elected faculty, chaired by the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Jeanette Brock.
According to Professor Kelly L. Bushey, “Edith Ortiz is in the health studies program, and I find her exponentially deserving of recognition. In reading an essay of hers, I was moved by her motivation and her dreams and goals. She has the kind of character I want to represent Hodges University in our local community. Edith has character, intelligence, research ability, initiative and passion.
As student of the month, Edith Ortiz will receive a recognition certificate and a $100 tuition credit.
