International College Confers First National Criminal Justice Honor Society Graduates

International College conferred its first Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society graduates during the 15th annual commencement ceremony on June 13.

The six graduates are: David Brinckman, Cape Coral; Susan Currie, Naples (Golden Gate); Laura King, Lehigh Acres; Sharon Randolph, Naples (Golden Gate); Lutgarda Sagrado, Fort Myers; and Shawn Wittwer, North Fort Myers.

Alpha Phi Sigma is the nationally recognized honor society for students in the criminal justice sciences. The society recognizes academic excellence by undergraduates as well as graduate students of criminal justice.

To become a member, a student must have completed one-third of their total hours required for graduation at his/her institution. The student must also be recommended by the chapter advisor. A student must also meet academic/GPA requirements.

International College offers associate, bachelor, and master degrees in Criminal Justice.

International College’s main campus is located in North Naples. It also has a branch campus in Fort Myers at The Renaissance Center. There is also a Sarasota learning site and locations on Edison Community College campuses in Fort Myers and Punta Gorda, and Pasco-Hernando Community College in New Port Richey, Brooksville and Dade City.
