One of the area’s leading business professionals has been appointed as a new member of Hodges University’s Board of Trustees.
Leslie King III, property manager for multiple residential and commercial income-producing real estate properties in Tennessee and Florida, will now fulfill a role on the Board of Trustees, which is involved in establishing university policy. His appointment brings a total of 13 professionals to the Board.
A native of Tennessee, King was heavily recruited by many of the major technology firms upon receiving his Master’s degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. He worked as a consultant for Arthur Andersen LLP in Nashville, Tennessee on their Computer Risk Management Team. In 2000, he relocated to the Naples area and now serves as a property manager for Earl Hodges’ real estate holdings. As a licensed Florida real estate agent, he has recently brokered deals with companies such as Rooms To Go and Einstein Bagels. He devotes much of his free time to the Collier County Humane Society and as a fitness co-captain for the Naples YMCA Annual Giving Fund.
King is excited to be part of the Hodges University team. “My privileged involvement with the University and its leadership over the past year has been phenomenal, and my enthusiasm continues to grow,” said King. “I consider the invitation to join the Board of Trustees the highest honor and look forward to working with such an esteemed group of individuals.”
