Center for Lifelong Learning at Hodges to host FDIC seminar

The Frances Pew Hayes Center for Lifelong Learning at Hodges University will host a series of economic-related sessions during February and March. The next session, “FDIC – How to Protect Your Hard Earned Money,” will be held on February 9, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at the Hodges University Naples Campus, 2655 Northbrooke Drive.

As events continue to unfold in the financial services industry, people want to make sure their funds are safe and secure. This class will help enable one to accurately determine safety of their federally insured deposits. Participants will explore FDIC’s Temporary Liquidity Guarantee Program as it relates to Business Services, non-interest bearing deposit transaction accounts and the changes in FDIC deposit insurance coverage. They will explore solutions for depositors, giving them peace of mind and confidence that they understand how to protect their hard earned money.

The session is free of charge and sponsored by Regions Bank. To reserve a seat, please contact Christine Wheeler at (239) 513-1122.
