International College Donates to American Red Cross

The public is welcome to visit International College bookstores to purchase an item to support victims of the terrorist attacks or pick up a free American flag lapel pin.

Students, faculty and staff at International College in Fort Myers and North Naples have organized a fundraising effort for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. The college made an initial $1,000 donation to the fund.

The college’s bookstores are selling 750 "America Stronger Than Ever" t-shirts and 200 car flags. Both items cost $10 and 100 percent of the profits go to the relief fund. The college’s bookstores have also bought 2,500 American flag lapel pins which are being given out for free.

The bookstores are open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

International College in Fort Myers is at 8695 College Parkway in the Renaissance Center and in North Naples at the intersection of Interstate 75 and Immokalee Road, east of Exit 17 off I-75. Call 482-0019 in Fort Myers or 513-1122 in North Naples.
