The Academic Committee of Hodges University has named L. Chad Davis the student of the month for April. The Academic Committee consists of the program chairs and other elected faculty, chaired by the Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Jeanette Brock. Chad was nominated for the award by Dr. Carlene Harrison, Dean of the School of Allied Health, based on nominations from nine of his classmates.
“Chad Davis is a pre-Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) student who began in the fall semester, earning a 4.0 in his Liberal Arts courses last semester,” said Dr. Harrison. “He has been nominated additionally by Professor Jeanne Csuy, as well as his fellow students. Chad is a leader in the classroom and has formed several study groups for his science courses. He has volunteered at the recent PTA information sessions, and he encourages his fellow students telling them that failure is not an option. It is a pleasure to nominate him for this recognition.”
As the student of the month, Chad will receive a formal letter with the nomination comments for his portfolio and files, a certificate and a $100 tuition credit.
