Special Recognition: Student of the Month, November 2011
I am currently enrolled in my final wheel of the Bachelor of Science in Management program. After almost a decade of no school, I have enjoyed returning to complete my degree requirements at the Florida Keys Community College learning site. My husband and employer have both been very flexible and supportive, and my outstanding educational experiences at Hodges University have improved my professional and personal relationships.
I enjoy gardening, cycling, running, and reading. My husband and I volunteer with the Key West Wildlife Center, a non-profit that rescues, rehabilitates, and releases local wildlife.
Why did you choose Hodges University?
I was looking for a local avenue to complete my degree. The professional, caring employees and the BSM program’s accelerated option convinced me that Hodges University was a great fit for me!
What do you like best about Hodges University?
I am impressed by the staff, site director and professors’ professionalism and genuine desire to help students succeed. I also enjoy the challenges and fast pace of the BSM wheel format.
What is your favorite class at Hodges University and why?
Perspectives in Management was my favorite class. I enjoyed the subject matter and my teacher was very interactive. I used his feedback to improve my writing skills and become a better student.
